Our next production will be Rick Abbot’s hilarious take on amateur drama group putting on a production… Play On. Nothing like KATS, at all. Prepare to laugh out loud everyone.

Please Note: You must be a member of KATS to perform in our productions. Membership is £50 per year.

Hot on the success of Our House – the sell out musical – we are starting the search for the cast of the next KATS production… Play On: A comedy by Rick Abbot involving an amateur drama group trying to put on a play despite maddening interference from the haughty author!

This show will be directed by Christine Bonner and Jules McColl.

If you would like to get involved, please come along to the read-through and subsequent auditions at Dodbrooke Church Hall: 7.30pm.

READ THROUGH: Thursday May 1st
AUDITIONS: Thursday May 8th and Tuesday May 13th
REHEARSALS START: Tuesday 24th June
PERFORMANCES: Wednesday 24th September to Saturday 27th September

KATS has been entertaining local audiences for over 100 years, with Trial by Jury as the first production in 1901.

All performers and crew are members of the Society, participating in the productions and enjoying plenty of social get togethers too.
